Long-life XICAR® Silicon Carbide Heating Elements with protective coating.

Sialon Ceramics silicon carbide heating element adopts the latest heating element technology. The maximum surface temperature can reach 1625 degrees Celsius. It has has high density and low porosity. It can effectively resist the erosion of harmful gases, water vapor and metal oxides. Faster aging, longer service life, reduced replacement frequency frequency, lower production cost for users, suitable for demanding locations such as glass, electronics and precious metal materials.

Various coatings  for SiC Heating elements

Our XICAR® Silicon Carbide Heating Element Coating is a kind of synthetic film, which is applied to the surface of the hot zone after the production of silicon carbide heating element. It can prolong the service life of silicon carbide heating element in the special use environment and can be separated from the gas to accelerate the aging of SiC heating element.

For more details of coating, please refer to the following introduction:
1. O coating: this coating is used for lower oxidation rate in normal use, make extend the working life of 30-60%.
2. N coating: this coating is used in the case of nitrogen.
3. G coating: this coating is used in three-phase rods (W type SiC heating element) float glass.
4. H coating: this coating is used in the case of steam or hydrogen.

DH type silicon carbide heater is welded by three parts, The middle is hot zone and the end is cold zone, the maximum working temperature is 1500℃.

U-Shape Silicon Carbide Heating Element

U shape silicon carbide heater has two hot zones,compare with DH shape silicon carbide heater has less than two cold zones, you can save 10-20% power when you use U shape silicon carbide heating element, the maximum working temperature is 1500℃.
